Toshiro Mifune

My most favorite actor-director combination is of Akira Kurosawa & Toshiro Mifune. Here is the first caricature of this year, i am quite happy with. The color scheme is inspired from the movie poster of Yojimbo.

Toshiro Mifune was a Japanese actor, best known for his 16-film collaboration with master filmmaker Akira Kurosawa,  in works such as Rashomon, Seven Samurai, Throne of Blood, and Yojimbo. He is also popular for portraying Musashi Miyamoto in Hiroshi Inagaki's Samurai Trilogy.

courageous, intense, dashing, maybe a little cruel- you've captured many qualities in this...

Mr.Kamal, you may be interested in my recent post on meditation and humour. It quotes from my novel, which is set in a commune in Oregon in the early eighties. Maybe a little bit familiar?
