Kamal graduated with a first class degree in fine art from Govt. College of Fine Arts, Kumbakonam in 1998. Started his career as an artist in Chennai making relief sculptures, murals, and paintings. His fascination towards cartoon characters & animation films brought him to the animation industry. He worked as an animator, Character Designer/Story Board Artist for many animated television series, commercials, Home Videos & Games in major animations companies such as DQ entertainment, Danlaw Technologies and Aurona Technologies. He has done character design & storyboarding for many international projects. Presently Kamal works as a concept artist in a leading Game Development Company in India at Hyderabad.
